Hearing Is Actually Believing
The thrust of Logic Studio is getting the user as close as possible to being a professional. This includes covering up for the many aspects of music production. First on the list is the learning curve. The music software teaches you everything you need to know about four specific areas: how to write, how to record, how to edit and how to mix your own music. The next on the list is giving you sounds and plug-ins. This is the area where serious recording, producing and performing is done. You can utilize a large music library collection and use amps, pedals, effects, as well as virtual instruments. Hearing then become believing, as you take your music to the next level.
Music Garage to Pro Studio Never an Issue
Whether in a music garage or in a professional issue, the output will still come out the same with Logic Studio. The software is designed for the discriminating music professional or talented newbie. It provides synthesizers, a variety of software instruments, audio effects and recording features for music integration for subsequent music release. Instrument loops via Apple Loops are supported through a royalty-free professionally recorded instrument library. Audio effects such as distortions, delays, equalizer filters and dynamics processors are included. The acoustics of different environments can be re-created, from a large room, a hallway, to echoes from the mountain top.
Some Things May Just Not Fit-In
With all the features of Logic Studio, hardware compatibility is a major hurdle. Since the software runs on Mac OS X and Mac platform, you have to purchase a Mac if you decide in using the software for your music garage or pro studio. There are also minimum requirements for RAM (4 GB or more), OS (Mac OS X v.10.6.8 or later) and storage. The software uses up 38 GB plus 9 GB for the installation software. Those who are currently using Windows-based music workstations may have to ponder because migrating will not only involve software cost but a cost in hardware investment as well.
